What's Tokido and Daigo thoughts just a day before they go EVO?
Daigo Umehara will play SSFIV:AE v2012 and SSFII Turbo in the Tournament of Legends side event.
Tokido will play SSFIV:AE v2012, UMvC3, SFxT, Soul Calibur V, King of Fighters XIII, VF5:FS, and SSFII Turbo in the Tournament of Legends side event.
Tokido says this year is gonna be hard, not just because many great Japanese players join the tournament, but great improvement of international players level. He assume Sako will gonna win a good place. Daigo thoughts this year is gonna be the highest competition level.
For SSFIV, the players from overseas (non-Japanese) who impressed Daigo are PoongKO's Seth, Xian's Gen, GamerBee's Adon, Justin Wong & Ricky Ortiz's Rufus, Wolfkrone's Viper, PR Balrog's Boxer.
Some characters are less obvious in Japan, which are giving Japanese players troubles, Tokido emphasizes Rufus and Boxer.
Asking about character choose for SSFII Turbo, Daigo says he will use Ryu in SSFIV, and any character in SSFII Turbo except Ryu (everyone laugh)
Tokido will team up with Fuudo for SFxT tournament. He has good confident in Soul Calibur V and King of Fighters XIII. However, for Soul Calibur V, Keev, RTD, Hawkeye, LinkRKC could be his big trouble, and for King of Fighters XIII, Bala and Kaoru (Japan) are very tough too.
