Momochi (Cody) 3 - 0 Uryo (Sakura)
Great start by Momochi, he dominate the early matches with amazing frame trap tricks, and Uryo keep dropping combo also gives him many opportunities. The last two rounds were closed, Momochi managed to get it.
YHC-Mochi (Dhalsim) 1 - 3 Eita (Akuma)
At the beginning Eita missed a lot of Shoryuken, Focus Attack, and even Demon Flip into wrong spot, Mochi got the 1st match easily. After that, Eita managed to correct his mistake and slowly claim back the game.
Mago (Fei Long) 1 - 3 Haitani (Makoto)
Mago wins 1st round easily. 2nd round Haitani managed to come back with little HP. 3rd match 2nd round Haitani get a big come back again, but he lost the match. Haitani did a counter Rekkaken with Oroshi, and two times with EX Karakusa! Last match Mago has lot of mistake such as uppercut without FADC on block, miss tech throw, let Haitani clearly beat over him.
Sako (Ibuki) 3 - 2 Momochi (Cody)
Sako didn't dodge a Lv.3 Focus Attack and miss combo caused him lost the 1st match. After that he played very careful, while Momochi also turning to defensive style. Late game is all about ground game. Momochi hardly push the game down to last match but lost to Sako's yomi in the end, he has full mirror but no chance to spend it in the last round.
Daigo Umehara (Ryu) 2 - 3 Bonchan (Sagat)
Daigo's space control is very well, most of the time he lock Bonchan at the range that won't get hit. However, Bonchan has very strong defense strategy beating Daigo. Daigo later go for yomi game, moves like walk up grab, Shoryuken all worked good. But the last match Bonchan has overcome it by switching to more fireball strategy game.
Eita (Akuma) 2 - 3 Kyabetsu (C. Viper)
Most of the rounds ended within 30 seconds. Both side faced a lot of trouble to escape each other vortex after being knock down. Eita fight back from 0 - 2. But in the last match, Kyabetsu successfully got the initiate advantage and follow up a lot of crazy mix up beaten Eita.
Uryo (Sakura) 3 - 2 YHC-Mochi (Dhalsim)
Tough fight for both players. Uryo has a lousy start, he miss some combo that let Mochi escape from corner several times, he then goes for simple combo but more aggressive mix up like overhead, empty jump. Uryo get smooth during the late game.
Momochi (Cody) 0 - 3 Bonchan (Sagat)
Momochi did well when he closed to Bonchan, but having lot of troubles in a range fight. Bonchan keep him in a distance most of the time and few sneaky dash forward attack works great to win this.
Eita (Akuma) 0 - 3 Fuudo (Fei Long)
1st match Eita gamble an Shoryuken but blocked, Fuudo finished him with Ultra 1. Fuudo counter Eita's mix up with lot of uppercut instead of blocking, which worked very well to stop the vortex. Eita only won a round over the whole game.
Sako (Ibuki) 3 - 1 Uryo (Sakura)
Both players delivery high density pressure to each other. Sako is more defensive in the mid to late game, although Uryo keep him in the corner few times but couldn't get much advantage. Uryo neutral jump hit by an instant Ultra 1 by Sako twice. Sako mix up done better than Uryo can block.
Daigo Umehara (Ryu) 3 - 1 Mago (Fei Long)
Mago control the game, Daigo is locked at the corner most of the time. However, this game Daigo is almost flawless at combo, he caught ever small chance to deal the most effective combo without mistake, reacting Rekkukyaku with crouching fierce and also Shoryuken, while Mago missing several combo in late game, Daigo got the final victory without much problem.
