There's a little rules changed for this season.
Winning Rules
PART 1: From Round 1 to Round 6
- 2/3 rounds to win a match
- 3/5 matches to win a game
- 11th and 12th place of the PART 1 will be demoted.
PART 2: From Round 7 to Round 12
- First to 7 format, deuce at 6-6 point until maximum 10 point.
- 5th to 10th place (6 players) will play in a 2nd League, only top 2 players will advance.
- The player finished at the last place (10th) will be demoted.
- The 2 players finished on top in 2nd League will play the FINAL League with the top 4 players from Part 1 league.
- The player finished higher place that his opponent in PART 1 will gain 1 point advantage.
- Secondary character is allowed.
- Players with same score will determined by head-to-head result (NEW).
Prizes:
1st place = 1,000,000 yen (~$9,700)
2nd place = 300,000 yen (~$2,900)
3rd place = 150,000 yen (~$1,455)

I think the world "demoted" would suit the context more than disqualified. Disqualified implies being removed due to lack sportsmanship, for example.

Uryo cannot advance to final league because his head to head result loses to Bonchan, he got 7th place now and saved his seed in A League for next season.
ok, thanks, I think if Uryo had chosen Sakura vs Bochan´s Sagat and Not C.Viper the history would be another....
