----------

Haitani (Makoto) [1 - 3] Uryo (C. Viper)

Kazunoko (Yun) [3 - 1] Dashio (Seth)

Mago (Fei Long) [1 - 3] Daigo Umehara (Ryu)
After Mago took the 1st match, Daigo came out a total different game plan, he deliver so many random Tatsumaki mainly push out the corner and also to break focus because Mago use a lot of focus attack and dash. This strategy worked very well to counter Mago as he has reduced focus dash, plus Mago combo for few times that can KO Daigo also the reason that cost him the game.

Sako (Ibuki) [3 - 0] Haitani (Makoto)

Wao (Oni) [3 - 0] Uryo (C. Viper)
Very fast victory by Wao in the 1st match. Uryo tried many ways to approach but mostly didn't work, Wao block or uppercut counter almost every Burning Kicks. Final match 1st round Wao come back with a random Ultra 2 when he has last HP left.

Mago (Fei Long) [1 - 3] Kazunoko (Yun)
Overall Kazunoko has good read on Mago's move, he never miss a command grab for the entire game. Mago always trying to counter his dive kick with jumping round house or focus attack, but it doesn't work for the late game, Mago seems could not really handle the ways that Kazunoko approach him.

Dashio (Seth) [3 - 2] Michael Tan (Ken)
The 3rd match was the best performance from Dashio, he has won a lot of yomi game with no HP left, he avoided air to air counter after a wall jump dive kick and then counter with Ultra 1, he also teleport toward Ken's wake up for a SPD to get the round. Michael Tan's air Tatsus cause a lot of troubles for Dashio until he start to counter instead of just blocking.

Haitani (Makoto) [3 - 1] Bonchan (Sagat)
The 3rd match both players has almost last HP left, Bonchan tried to jump away but caught by EX Dash Punch. Overall Bonchan block a lot instead of uppercut because of Haitani random Axe Kick that could evade uppercut.

Uryo (C. Viper) [1 - 3] Daigo Umehara (Ryu)
1st round finished with frame trap Ume-shoryu into Ultra 1, quite a fast 1st match victory by Daigo. 3rd match a huge come back by Daigo in 2nd round and huge come back by Uryo in the 3rd round. Daigo deal with Burning Kick by using c.HP to counter, c.MK to dodge or even jumping HK.

Michael Tan (Ken) [0 - 3] Sako (Ibuki)
At first, Michael Tan blocked almost every cross up Kunai on wake up, lately Sako tries on other options instead of using Kunai on Ken's wake up, and that worked well for him. Other than the 1st match, Sako took the rest easily.

Bonchan (Sagat) [0 - 3] Wao (Oni)
Wao seems knowing this match up so well, he keeps in the distance that can counter or focus dash over Bonchan's fireball. Wao also has great read of some Bonchan's moves in the late game, he finished the last round by catching Bonchan's back dash with Ultra 2.
