Capcom Pro Tour Asia Qualifiers & Finals infomation (Correction)

**Updates: Event dates correction

Capcom Pro Tour Asia series will begin this month until the end of October 2014, the winner of the Asia Finals will enter the Capcom Cup 2014 finals in December. Check out Capcom Pro Tour for details.

The Asia Qualifiers event as per below:

- China Qualifier

Tournament Format/Rules:

Qualifiers (China/Korea/Taiwan/Singapore)
- The Asia Qualifiers will be held in a double-elimination format.
- Matches up to Grand Finals: The matches will be played in a first-to-two format. The first player to win 2 99-seconds rounds wins a game and earns a point. First player to gain 2 points wins the match.
- Grand Finals: The matches will be played in a first-to-three format, with no deuce rules. The first player to win 2 99-seconds round wins a game and earns a point. First player to gain 3 points wins the match.

Asia Finals
- The Asia Finals will be held in a round-robin format.
- The matches will be played in a first-to-three format, with no deuce rules. The first player to win 2 99-seconds round wins a game and earns a point. First player to gain 3 points wins the match.
Players will be granted points based on how much they won a match by. For example, if a player wins 3-0, he gets 3 points. If a player loses 2-3, they get -1 points.
- If two players have won the same amount of sets, their placing will be decided by the amount of points they earned with the matches in said sets. If they also have the same amount of points, the placement between the two will be decided by who won between these two specific players.
- The top 2 players at the end of the round-robin will play each other to determine the winner. Both players will play a race to 7 to determine the winner. The player that is ranked 1st from the round-robin stage is allowed to lose 1 set of a race to 7 games to be the winner of Capcom Pro Tour Asia, while the player that is ranked 2nd from the round-robin stage has to win 2 sets of a race to 7 games to be the winner of Capcom Pro Tour Asia.
