Overall Michael Tan performance is very good, he did tons of good read such as jump in, random uppercut, air Tatsu, ground Tatsu at the perfect timing. He jump in Uryo's fireball several times gain him great advantage.

Fuudo (Fei Long) [3 - 0] Santarou (Sagat)
Fuudo greatly control the game, Santarou relies a lot of yomi game to counter like dash forward grab, Tiger Knee in the unsafe distance, but it only works for a while. 2nd match Fuudo made a huge comeback begins with Ultra 1 over the EX Tigershot.

Kazunoko (Yun) [3 - 2] EX Pugera (Ibuki)

Tokido (Akuma) [3 - 0] Bonchan (Sagat)
Tokido gone for lot of footsies game after he failed jump in for few times. Bonchan has missed few chances to counter but he did not made it, perhaps it's difficult so he didn't want to take the risk. In late game both players done some mistake such as wrong direction uppercut and dropping combo. Eventually Tokido managed to get it.

Michael Tan (Ken) [2 - 3] Momochi (Ken)
Momochi wins the 1st and 2nd game quite convincingly. Michael Tan fight back to 2 - 2 as Momochi made mistakes several times. 4th match Momochi hit by 2 wake up Shoryuken in a row. In the final round Momochi get the momentum from his Ultra 2 counter Hadoken and lead himself to victory.
